Paul M. Sasaura, MD, joined Northern California Orthopedic Center in August 2002 as a general orthopedic surgeon. His practice includes computer navigated, mini-incision total joint surgery, sports related injuries, pediatrics, and a special interest in orthopedic trauma and fracture care.
Dr. Sasaura received his medical degree from the University of California (UC), Los Angeles, and completed his general and orthopedic surgery residency training at UC Davis Medical Center. During his training, he embarked on trauma-related research, including a study comparing operative vs. non-operative treatment for tibial shaft fractures. Upon completion of his orthopedic residency, Dr. Sasaura received the prestigious Timothy J. Bray Trauma Award for Outstanding Achievement.
