Brian
A. McDowell, D.P.M., has been in practice in Carmichael since 1975.
He was born in Boise, Idaho, and graduated from the College of Idaho.
He attended California College of Podiatric Medicine, where he graduated
with honors. Dr. McDowell completed his internship and residency
programs in San Francisco, is board certified by the American College
of Podiatric Surgeons and the American College of Foot and Ankle
Surgeons. He is also board certified in laser surgery.
Dr. McDowell specializes in the treatment and surgery of the lower
extremity, including pediatric foot problems, biomechanics of the
foot and leg, plantar fasciitis and heel pain, trauma, fractures,
diabetic foot problems, forefoot reconstruction, sports-related
injuries, ingrown toenails, neuropathies, pain, and plantar warts.
Dr. McDowell is married with three children. He and his wife enjoy
traveling, golf, and spending time with their family.
