Paul
K. Lim, MD, joined Northern California Orthopedic Centers in 1996
and was elected as the Centers President in 1998. A respected
physician and surgeon at home and abroad, Dr. Lim has studied and
practiced orthopedic medicine in Australia, Canada, and the United
States. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic
Surgery and the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada.
Dr. Lim received his medical degree from the University of Melbourne,
Australia, and completed his postgraduate internship and surgical
residency in Melbourne. He continued his postgraduate medical studies
in Ontario, Canada, where he completed an orthopedic residency and
established himself in private practice. In 1979, Dr. Lim relocated
to California.
Dr. Lim has served as a clinical instructor of advanced spine surgery
techniques. He has participated in clinical trials evaluating new
spine surgery devices and technologies, and has presented his work
at national symposia. Dr. Lim has served as Division Chairman, Orthopedic
Surgery, at Mercy San Juan Hospital, and he now serves on the Medical
Executive
Committee there. Dr. Lim is a Fellow of the American College of
Surgeons.
