Robert
L. Cameto, MD, joined Northern California Orthopedic Centers in
1995. A board-certified orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Cameto received
advanced fellowship training at Duchess of Kent Children’s
Hospital in Hong Kong. In Carmichael for more than 2 decades, he
has successfully treated thousands of patients with orthopedic disorders
and injuries. His interests include sports medicine, arthritis treatment
including total joint replacement, and trauma care.
A California native, Dr. Cameto received his medical degree from
the University of California, Irvine, College of Medicine. He completed
a surgical internship and orthopedic surgery residency at the University
of California, San Francisco.
Dr. Cameto is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
He has been a faculty member of universities and is an active member
of several professional medical societies and organizations.
He spends much of his free time pursuing the same sports activities
as many of his patients, including skiing, bike riding, kayaking,
and exercising. On winter weekends, you can find him working with
the volunteer ski patrol at Alpine Meadows. He also enjoys spending
time with his children and traveling.
